Principal’s Corner
We want to take this time to wish you all a happy holiday season. Take time to share as a family what you are especially proud of this year. Set goals together for the new year.
We look forward to our continued work together in the new year. We have the best students in Lincoln Public Schools walk through our doors each and every day. Thank you for sending them!
Phone Contact Information: It is that time of year when many illnesses are going around. Please help us get a hold of you when your child is sick and in the Nurse’s Office needing to go home by updating your phone numbers when they change. This phone number will be used for Connect Ed and phone calls home if there is a school closure due to the weather.
Whenever your phone contacts change please give us a call at 436-1132 to update them. That includes home, work and emergency contacts. Thank you.

Schoolwide Rules and Procedures: At Clinton School we have the following rules: Be Safe. Be Respectful. Be Responsible. We are teaching students procedures around the building. This week we are continuing to focus on behavior in all common areas. Students that are caught using these procedures may receive an “I Got Caught” sticker. If your child wears one home, ask them how they earned it.

Don’t ARRIVE until 7:45 a.m. Adults will be out to supervise at 7:45 a.m. for our students safety. Please do not bring your children until that time. If you need before school care, please contact Kristi Chambers at the Clinton Community Learning Center at 437-8835 or 770-8606.
Attendance: Attendance Goal for 2007-08: Let’s set our goal to have a 95% average daily attendance rate for the 2007-08 school year. Students that are in school learn!!
As of December 14, 2007, we have an average daily attendance rate of 95.88%.

--Friday, December 21st‚ÄîClinton K-5 students to a movie at The Grand sponsored by Douglas Theaters. The students will see “Meet the Robinsons”.
--December 22-January 2—Winter Break. No school.
--Thursday, January 3rd—School Resumes.
--Monday, January 14th. No School.
--Tuesday, January 15th—7 p.m., Clinton Parent Group Meeting, Cafeteria. All parents are invited.
