Clinton School has served the elementary educational needs of families in the Clinton Neighborhood since 1867. The current Collegiate Gothic style building, located at 29th and Holdrege Streets and built in 1925, provides a prominent and stately presence in the Clinton neighborhood. Our Title I school serves over 500 multicultural urban pre-K through Grade 5 students.
I am honored to serve as principal of Clinton Elementary. Our mission is: “High expectations for every child to succeed in our changing world. “ Our mission-oriented, dedicated staff members look forward to teaching your students each day.
At Clinton, we honor the diversity and strengths of each student. Our vision is for every student to achieve at high levels to become productive, successful citizens. Through the Lincoln Public Schools MTSS-B model, we incorporate best practice components of Positive Behavior Supports (PBiS) and Behavior Intervention Support Team (BIST). Students follow the guidelines of “it’s never okay to be hurtful or disruptive” and “be safe, respectful, and responsible.” Our common area expectations and school-wide routines and procedures promote a positive, safe and productive learning environment.
Clinton parents and families provide energetic and committed support. The efforts of Clinton parents and families as well as our many community volunteers help to further enhance our school’s mission. We appreciate all of the support for Clinton School!
We welcome you to visit anytime. We think you will find our school to be a friendly and welcoming place for students and families.
Sincerely,
Angee Luedtke,
