ParentVUE – Reminder
ParentVUE is a component of the LPS Student Information System that allows parents/guardians secure access to student assignments/grades (secondary), attendance information, class websites, IEP information, and much more. The beginning of a new semester is a great time to check out what ParentVUE offers.
Find more information about ParentVUE on our school home page under Essentials.
Last year, LPS identified a list of “key concepts” critical to helping students become safe, responsible, and respectful digital citizens: https://home.lps.org/technology/citizenship/keyconcepts/. This year, with the District’s support, Clinton Elementary is developing a plan for helping students know, understand, and practice those key concepts.
Parent’s play an important role in this work. Check out this resource from the FTC for ideas about how to talk to kids about being online: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/features/kids-online
