The Clinton Community Family Group meets Wednesday mornings at 8:30 a. m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Family Resource Center. The group is open to all parents, guardians, and adult members of the community.

Group meetings provide an important opportunity for Clinton families to participate in an interactive, intercultural exchange of information and learning experience while building a family based peer support network. The group hosts workshops and training seminars each week conducted by experts in the field of parenting, child psychology, mental health, human development, health and nutrition to name a few.
Our education component focuses on both adult education (e.g. English, and GED classes), and parent education (e.g. child guidance, problem solving, home and money management.) Our social and personal development components include fun family bonding activities (e.g. scrapbooking, bingo, arts and crafts) and confidential discussion sessions which allow families time to share parenting difficulties and experiences, evaluate risk associated with outcomes, and collaborate on solutions in a safe and supportive environment. Come join us.
See our calender for a listing of topics and fun filled events.
Children are welcome and language interpreters are available.
